TattSafe Connect Privacy Policy

This privacy policy for TattSafe Connect, an application by TattSafe LLC, describes how and why TattSafe Connect collects, stores, and processes data during use.

Personal Data. TattSafe Connect collects limited sensitive information, personal information, information related to a user’s identity or information that can be used to derive a user’s identity.

TattSafe Connect retains contact information if/when a user initiates contact via email, iMessage or other forms of communication.

Device Data. TattSafe Connect collects data about a user’s device including a device’s model, interface, iOS version, and unique (randomly generated) device level identifiers.

This data is used for diagnostics, troubleshooting, and for internal analytics.

TattSafe Connect Data. TattSafe Connect collects logged usage data generated by the user. This includes data such as in-app feature use, frequency of use, and crash/error report data.

This data is used for diagnostics, troubleshooting, and for internal analytics.

Location Data. TattSafe Connect collects regional location data about a user’s device including a device’s IP Address and Locale.

Coarse location data is collected based on the user's IP Address, collecting only locality information such as ‘Springfield, Missouri, USA.’

Locale data is a combination of your preferred language and region as set in your iOS Language & Region settings.

This information is used to maintain security and for internal analytics and diagnostics.

Data Storage & Retention. TattSafe Connect relies on iCloud for persisting and storing data. Data is retained for later analysis for as long as it is relevant and useful.

All data collected is used internally to improve TattSafe Connect. TattSafeConnect does not share any data collected with third parties.

TattSafe Connect does not collect identifying information. Additional verification is required before release or deletion of data.
